BACKGROUND
In the series WITHOUT WORDS, I let the abstract, non-verbal language of colors, shapes,
and movement speak. Here, I explore the tension between chaos and order, balance and the moments
when everything tips over.
My grandson was born deaf. He does not have a language like ours, yet we still understand him.
He listens to the world through physical vibrations.
I listen through abstract visual art. In this connection, a unique resonance emerges
a deep understanding beyond words.
He has now received Cochlear Implants. The most skilled specialists have replaced the cochlea he
was born without with advanced electronics. Now, we embark on a new journey: hearing, listening,
speaking – Audio-Verbal Training (AVT). His young, adaptable brain must learn to translate
electronic impulses into sound, into meaning.
NONVERBAL ART
I have a verbal language. I can hear and speak. But in the serie without words between Chaos
and Order, I choose to remain in the non-verbal. Through color, shape, space and movement,
I seek those delicate states where chaos and order intertwine—where balance is found and gently
disrupted. Here, a new language emerges—a sensory space for understanding.
